Hello World, from Wandel

Welcome to the wonderful world of Wandel. Where we take the chaotic unfiltered thoughts in your head and make them make sense. 

We know it’s quick and easy to record your thoughts, but harder to make sense of an audio recording later. Voice is great for creation, poor for consumption. If you've ever been at the end of a 10 minute voice note on a messaging app, this is a problem you've definitely encountered. We want to solve this problem.

The launch of Wandel starts with a mobile application available for Apple devices. This will let you record a quick voice note, that we transcribe then summarise. Whether it’s a daily journal, a shopping list, or a quick idea you have on the go, Wandel lets you capture that thought as you have it.

The magic of Wandel comes with the summarisation, we provide many different summarisation styles for each use case. If you need to dictate a quick email, use the Email style. It'll clean up all your pauses and redundant thoughts, then provide simple text you can copy and paste into your email client. Wandel has 12 system defined styles out of the box. We also give you the ability to add your own summarisation styles using a simple prompt.

I know this post is in English, but Wandel supports 15+ languages beyond English at launch, including German, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish, French, Indonesian, Korean, Italian, American and Australian. Multi-language support is still in preview, so let us know how it does at summarising your language!

Today is just the beginning of Wandel. We have a lot planned. We'll be adding native integrations with your favourite platforms like Notion, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. Wandel will extend to more platforms, with a Web client next in line. Today you can only record audio live, soon you'll be able to upload audio files you already have. Expect more advanced diarisation features, like identifying speaker names when transcribing meetings. There is a lot coming!
